What taste?

I have always maintained that I have no real good taste in music. I just like what I like. But lately music has become very important to me. I totally have an entire soundtrack (that covers ALL of my moods) for what is going on for my life, which I thought would be fun to share:

  1. Move Along (All American Reject)
  2. Stronger (Britney)
  3. Hurt (Johnny Cash version…haha, gotta love that)
  4. Never Knew (Rocket Summer)
  5. Take me Back (um…church? And it’s totally inspirational toward God, NOT a plea to my ex.)
  6. Basket Case (Green Day)
  7. King without a crown (Matisyahu — who can’t listen to reggae/ rap, Hasidic Jew style?)
  8. Brat Pack (Rocket Summer)
  9. Since You’ve Been Gone (Kelly Clarkson)

Yes. I am a complete freak. :)

  1. What you need is to tap into my music lists. A bit of Iron Maiden, some Joe Walsh, a little Jammin’ with Bob Marley, and throw in a bit of Zeppelin, AC/DC, and the Screaming Cheetah Wheelies. :)

Can never go wrong with some Metal!

  2. Reid,

Find Joe Jackson’s “Night and Day”, 1 and 2, recorded about 20 years apart. It is a Brit’s love affair with New York and Jackson is brilliant - although the term “brilliant” is now a cliche’, it’s the only way to describe “The Man.” While my own musical tastes venture toward the ecclectic, I cannot recommend this highly enough. It is therapy for your heart and soul.

  3. So sad…I’m such a freak I don’t recognize any of the names other than Johnny Cash. *sigh* Obviously it’s a good thing we don’t have to agree on music to be friends.
