Good golly Ms. Molly
Um. Home Depot has never been one of my favorite places because of the whole "do it yourself" mantra. If I can afford someone to do it for me, then you know darn well that I am not going to repaint my house or tile my kitchen myself.
Same goes for dentistry even. Those "fill in your own filling" kits at Wal-Mart? Not for me.
And believe it or not, major surgeries or medical procedures are something I like to stick with a licensed professional as well. Just call it common sense.
Which is something Molly lacks who is giving "how to do your own abortions" advice on her blog. I’m not linking her site, but I’m linking to Darleen’s Place who is just as apalled as I am for the irresponsible content that Molly is posting.
First off, I am pro-life. But even pro-choicers would have issues with Ms. Molly and her taking the whole "Do-it-yourself" kick too far. And by the way, isn’t this the big reason why pro-choicers want abortion legal? So people aren’t going out in the "back alley", "doing it themselves"? You would think, again, the reasonable course of action for Pro-Choicers would be to encourage the ladies of South Dakota to travel to another state or even arrange transportation for these women in want of an abortion as a form of protest against the new law, not encourage them to risk their safety and their bodies.
What’s next? Brain surgery in the comfort of your home? All you need is a hack saw and a mirror?
